I have a friend who has a flock of chickens with a few rooster...the alpha rooster was kicked out of the flock by his son and he was getting beat up all the time...his comb is covered with sores...so I offered to take him but is it possible that they damaged his crow...it looks like he's trying to but no sound comes out...he does make cluck sounds but no crow....is his crow hurt...he is 5 years old
