I think you'll find that it does not really matter much what people tell you here, because you can't manufacture a GOOD coop (by most BYCers ideas of what constitutes good chickenkeeping, anyhow) at a price competitive with the crappy ones out there, especially not when shipping is figured in.
In general though I'd say they're all advertised for WAY more chickens than they ought to hold in nearly all peoples' situations (i.e. unless you live on Maui), and they've all got radically-inadequate ventilation (although it is hard TO ventilate adequately in a tiny coop, especially for the North).
I do not expect that will ever change.
