Cliantha left him and returned with a key. "Here's the key for Room 12. How long will you be staying?"

"Just overnight!" Isabella chirped happily to the pretty waitress, "We are travelers."

"Thank you." Cliantha said, scribbling it down, "Are you going anywhere in particular?"

Travelers, thought Cliantha, sounds like a whole lot more interesting occupation than this one. Then again, thing have been getting interesting lately.
