"Yes?" said Mr. Ashdown, "What is it?"

"I'd like to stay in a room here tonight," Winter said.

"Of course." He held out his hand for payment.

(Just to let you know, she didn't have to go to him for that.)

Winter reached into her bag and pulled out some money and plaved it in his hand. "That should be enough."

He gave her a key, "Room 8."

Winter nodded. "Thank you."

Mark made his way deeper into the forest to see if anyone was coming down the road looking for him. When he saw nobody he started to relax a bit more. He was going to light another fire when he saw a group of bandits coming down the road. He got ready to fight when he saw an unusual thing happen. Someone he knew or didn't know came along and started fighting.
