Winnie laid her first egg today!!

Unfortunately we had some soft shelled eggs so we had to throw them in the compost.

Winnie went broody and we couldn't stop her so we had to give her away along with her friends, Queenie and Fluffers. We sent them to a farm that needed a hen to sit on their new chicks.
They had so many animals including rabbits, guinea pigs, dogs and cats!
To replace them we got 4 new chicks!!

Names are yet to come. They are blue stars.

This morning we found the black chick in the previous picture relaxing on top of the heater in their box.
