Adventures with my feathered friends

Welp my little ones that I have been keeping in the bedroom decided to fly the coop and the misses wasnt having anything to do with little chicks scurrying all over the place... lol, lol

I guess after the 1st couple made it over the wire ""it was game on""

So I guess I completed the new brooder just in time

Well I picked up my red sexlinks from Southern States yesterday but decided only to get 12 verses 18 because they had easter egger chicks so I brought 8 of them home as well

I felt bad for the red sex links because they had their beaks trimmed real short. Can't say that I'm really happy about it just seems cruel and as I watched them in the run they seem to have problems picking up scratch from off of the ground.

Does anybody know the reason why they would do that to the beaks.
