Adverse long term effects of shrink wrapped chicks due to low humidity during incubation.

Does anyone know if shrink wrapping due to low humidity during incubation effects growth rate or has any other long term negative effects?

The question would not apply to chicks that have become stuck after pipping the shell and dried out during lockdown. Only to chicks that have pipped the dried shrink wrapped membrane and were unable to pip the shell due to improper humidity levels during the whole incubation time.

My reason for asking this is I had to help out a whole hatch (8 chicks) because of improper humidity levels. All the chicks pipped the air cells but were unable to pip the shell. These birds are now about 5 months old and it seems that they are smaller than they should be at this age when compared to others of the same breed and from the same stock.

I guess the better question would be does humidity levels during incubation permanently effect growth?
