Ok, Seeking advice. Would it be better to have a heavy duty duck tractor that we move around the yard and some free range OR above ground fully enclosed day pen with free range as able? My concerns as we have every predator (coons, coyotes, bobcat, hawks, etc) you can have. Hot wire and enclosed yard for chickens with DAYTIME free range works so far. Starting a heavy chicken tractor for try outs. But, realistically, especially in winter, I know I won't be able to get home in time to lock up the poultry so must be confined part of the time. I figure the duck tractor will leave muddy spots in the yard (but don't mind that) but worry above ground may be less "pleasing" to the ducks. Any advice appreciated. Thank you.
