15 days ago I picked up some baby chicks, and the lady who sold them to me gave me 4 eggs. They are lavender araucanas (the tailed ones, live in Australia). I'd brought and incubator a few months previously and was too nervous to use it, but decided to put them in there.
I cannot believe it but on day 15 there are 3 eggs nearly filling the whole egg, and I can see a bit of movement!!! I'm now totally nervous I am going to do something wrong, and I really want these babies to hatch!
She told me to have the incubator at 55-60% for the first few days and I have done that. But she didn't tell me what to do after that. What should I have the incubator on at day 18-21? I know there is a bit of variation. South Australia is very dry with low humidity. My incubator book from china says 85% but that seems way to high to what I have read. I'm so confused and don't want anything to go wrong!
Please any advice would be appreciated.
