advice for baby's hurt leg, please!

Is he a broad breasted, they tend to get too heavy and their legs give out.

He is and after this pic was taken, we have been working on his diet and gotten his weight down a bit. He's not our Thanksgiving dinner. He's my baby. He and his mate kept the teenagers off my other property. Once he gets moving, he's pretty agile, but it's that stiffness that gets him.

She's an Americana or EE, Her name is Rolo and she's just the softest, sweetest little thing. We have another one, a red-head, and her name is Phyllis Diller and she's soft and sweet too. I'm hooked on the EE's. They are quirky and sweet.
Thanks, I posted my girl's picture in the ID forum and everyone said she looked like an Americana. Only she doesn't lay colored eggs! Just a light beige. She is super soft and sweet as well.

Just an update. We had to put our baby turkey down a couple of weeks ago. It was walking around fine but when we moved it to a bigger pen, it started limping again and finally stopped walking altogether. I think it was that his leg couldn't support his increased weight as he grew.
