Advice for egg hatching eggs

Ive got a broody hen sitting on fertile eggs its due some time next week. This is my first time. Do i need to do anything or will the hen provide warmth also would the hen show how to eat and drink etc thanks

Your hen will know just what to do with her babies, all you need to do is provide her with a safe place to raise them.

x2 the above advice. The hen will know what to do instinctively. Keep them in a safe, dry place and they will be just fine. Also, you need to feed the chicks chick starter food. The hen can eat it as well, but the chicks must not eat layer food, they high calcium content is bad for them. Best of luck with your hatch!

thanks for this info but was fust wondering if ou when know when to give the food to the hen and chick is it ment to be there just before its hatch ??
