I need advice regarding egg storage or tips on how to keep them cool. I unfortunately live in the Philippines and the air temperature in my region is constantly around 31-37°C. I've lost quite a lot of viable eggs meant for hatching in batches (around 50 or so) due to self-incubation from the heat and I don't know how to solve this as it's not a problem for many poultry people apparently.

I have tried fridge-storing my eggs 2 years ago with good hatch rates, but now my sister uses it for her small business leaving no space for my flock's eggs. Does anyone have any advice or tips for situations like this? T_T

not sure for your climate but when there was no fridge my grandparents kept eggs in a barrel with wheat. it must be placed in a cool place with no direct sunshine.

wheat isn't openly available here unfortunately, could other grains like rice and mungbean do the trick? :)
