Advice / Input needed please

This is my first broody hen. I have a broody hen and her babies are due tomorrow. I have her in the coop in her nest in a large dog crate. My question is should I leave the shavings or should I put down potty pad for the baby chicks. Thank you so much for your input.

If the hen is already on the shavings, I wouldn't mess with her. leave it be.

I prefer shavings. Also the less you bother her the better.
