Advice: introducing duck to a goose

We have a lonely chinese goose (female 4 months) we want to introduce a crested duck (female 10 months) for her to spend time with.
The chinese goose doesnt seem to initially like her and has pecked at her. Any suggestions?

Can you put them side by side with a temporary fence of some kind between them. That way they get use to each other but one can't pick on the other. I takes time but well worth it and will probably not be long till they are best friends. When you put them together be sure to stay with them, then when you have to go in put them in their separate sides of the fence. All the best.
