Advice needed ASAP

I have a 13 day old baby mandarin duck he’s by himself because no other eggs were fertile he recently had a niacin deficiency but that was taken car of he hasn’t been on weight and staying at 27grams today when weighed he dropped to 25grams he doesn’t seem sick or act sick what should I do?

How accurate is your scale? If it reads to the gram, it can be off a couple grams either way. Or, maybe he had a drink before you weighed him yesterday and not today. 2 mL of water weighs about two grams, that isn’t very much. I wouldn’t be concerned unless you see a trend over a few days.

Is he eating a good amount ?
He could be a bit lonely and maybe not eating like he would with some friends
Do you provide a stuffy and a mirror for him ?
Any plans ti give him a friend

The scale is very accurate after he ate he weighed 26g but since started to been weighed (day 8) he hasn’t put on any weight he has stayed at 27g. Would you recommend anything for him to gain weight?
