Advice needed on egg swap....please, i need your opinions...

I'd wash my hands of the whole thing and chalk it up to experiance and a lesson learned. If you get your eggs from her then it won't have been a total bust, but I certainly wouldn't send her anymore eggs.

If you get anything out of this besides wisdom you're lucky. I doubt any eggs were sent to you. If so I really doubt you're going to have any hatch.

Tell her in a firm but not threatening way that you have held up your end of the bargain, shipped eggs to her the way she wanted them, and that you owe her nothing more. Ask for your delivery comf. number and then if she won't get off your case, tell her that you can let everybody on the other forums NOT to trade with her in the future, and that you can send her a bill for the eggs and shipping that you have already sent her.

I would post feedback or tell others about her anyways. You don't want others to go through this.

Having been through a couple bad deals, the best thing you can do is :
1) ship the eggs you promised (you did this)
2) Walk away
3) Keep a list with this persons name and never do business with them again.
4) If it was someone here, use the feedback system

In the end, yes you are out shipping and some eggs, but you can also go on knowing you did the right thing. The other person, if the have a conscience will have to live knowing they did the wrong thing. Let it go, it will be easier on you.

I emailed her this morning and told her they stepped laying and i dont know when they will start again. I was also looking and i dont think that particular site has a feedback system. But it does have moderators... I she shipped my eggs then they should be here no later than tomarrow, i will let you all know if she sent them or not...I dont know if she has done this to others or not because she emailed me today and told me her "friend" has a whole incubator full of pheasant, turkey, duck, and chicken eggs..o quail too... so i have a feeling im not the first one she has tried to pull this with

I wonder why she would expect you to send her replacement for the supposed 1/2 of the order that was broken, if she's only sending you 1/2 of the trade. Would that not be even, if she it telling the truth? I still don't think it's fair on the OP's part to only get 1/2 because she did as the other asked.
