Advice needed please

I've a two year old chicken (intensive farming heavy layer breed) that was off laying and going through a molt who is now on the ground, eyes closed, not moving at all. She's currently being cuddled in my lap and completely unresponsive (ignores mealworms, eyes closed most of the time). There are no vets anywhere near that will treat/help with chickens so I'm on my own with what I can do to help. Realistically, I'm limited in what I can access to help her (rural Spain) - what can I do to make her as comfortable as possible and any help diagnosing would be really appreciated. She's no visible injuries and all the other hens seem normal.

Sounds like she is dying. Are you capable of ending her suffering?

I think you might be right but hope you're wrong. I don't want her to suffer - if I need to then I will need guidance on the most humane way. I'd like to wait a while though in case she perks up. Oh this is so hard...

I've taken a video but can't upload it here. Here's a photo - realistically she's not moving nor opening her eyes. She is still breathing and it's not laboured - she looks almost like she's asleep.

She passed just a few minutes ago. The kids got to say goodbye to her after school and we were able to prepare them. We've no idea what caused her to go - it was very fast (she was fine this morning). We'll be keeping a close eye on the other hens......thankfully at the moment they all look normal. She was a lovely friendly hen - we'll all miss her.

I am sorry for your loss.

Here in the United States we can send our birds to a state lab where they will preform a necropsy to determine the cause of death for a very cheap rate.
I have no idea if y'all have something like that available over there but if you don't you can learn a lot by opening the bird up yourself.

Poor thing..
Just by looking at her there was no doubt she was dying.
You see the purplish color in her comb?

If you don't mind may I ask what exactly you feed your birds?
