advice needed regarding LGD and family dog

If I am correct?......For 6 months you and the Aussie lived away from home.....The LGD is young......The pack changed, your not in control or leader to the LGD.....Work on becoming top Dog again....That is why Chickens have been killed...The pack has changed.....You need to reinforce your power over the pack of Dogs.......
