I started my eggs at almost the exact same time! According to what I have read tonight would be the 14th day. I have also read that some people stop turning their eggs on days 16 or 17 instead of waiting until the 18th to make sure they are in position. I am not positive about that being the best advice, but since I have read it a few times here on BYC I am planning to lay mine flat on the 16th some time. I figure that isn't too early and shouldn't be too late. Then I am expecting them to hatch no earlier than the 19th but most likely on the 20th because of the late start on the 29th.
But then again I could have this all messed up because of nerves and over-thinking.
Correct me if you think I've got something wrong!
Also I plan to candle up until the 16th when I am laying them flat. Then I will do the lockdown thing. I have a couple really dark eggs that I am unsure about, but as long as they don't start to smell I am going to leave them in until every other egg has hatched and then remove them. I just worry about accidentally terminating an egg that is actually good just because Im not able to see what's going on inside.
