I have 2 breeding pairs that I really want to combine. The reason is for space and they are the same breed and size. They were first quarantined from each other, then in runs side by side for the last month. I'm just worried because both roosters are huge and dominant orpingtons. I'm afraid they'll try to kill each other ! Do you guys think it will work??

So you have two Buff Orpington cocks, how many females? I would recommend separating the two cock with each having hens in the company. That way, there are no fights over mating and dominance.

Yeah, it's 2 hens & 2 cocks. I'm thinking it's probably a bad idea too :-(.
Do you need both roos? If not, sell one, then put the other three in the same pen. If this isn't possible, looks like you will be building more pens.

The joys of chicken math!

I definately want both Roos. One is a white Delaware Orpington pair & the other Lavender Delaware orpingtons. So yes, more building, & I guess I will be forced to hatch some of their babies and hopefully gain more hens!! Chicken math always gets me!!
