Back story
my faverolle started feather pecking so after all other failed attempts I used a bumpa bit
This was on for 2/3 weeks
Fitted correctly checked a bazillion times
A day or so after removal she started coughing with neck stretched and occasional mouth breathing so I separated her added some poultry tonic to water and have been treating her with vetrx daily and put some ivermectin drops on her incase of worms
Noticed she had a dry hard build up in her nose so removed it on the day coughing started
She's eating drinking moving around like normal everything else is normal her eyes and nose are fine other than this cough
Not sure if it's got anything to do with the bumpa bit but thought I'd mention just incase
It's been a week now
I will take her to the vets tomorrow if necessary but don't want to take her if it's something she will could potentially get over
Thought ?

I had to look up bumpa bits, but am more familiar with pinless peepers for controlling pecking. The nasal buildup may have been due to the device that was on. How is your coop ventilation? Dust, pollen, mold can potentially cause sneeze or cough. As long as she is active, alert, eating and drinking, I would probably watch her. Respiratory diseases usually cause eye bubbles or foam in one eye, mucus from nostrils or beak, rattles with breathing, or constant sneezing.
