Advice on handling an aggressive chick (rooster?)

Just because you have an aggressive bird, I'm not convinced of the sex.
I've raised thousands of chicks and never really see a difference between sexes at that age related to aggression.
Just give them more space and the problems may disappear.
thank you so much!

Thank you! This is good to hear. I will try separate for now. Interestingly I just increased the space to a refrigerator box on its side and that seems to have increased the frenetic energy. Lots of flying and running.
Try dropping them outside in warm weather sometime (if you have it. I don't) They go nuts, flapping around and running to look at everything.

OMG - now I’m freaking out because I went to take a video and someone has developed reddish bloody poop. Not sure who yet but they’ve been on medicated chick feed from day one and I completely change the entire brooder everyday as well as “spot clean” all day. No wetness etc. What now ?!?

Take a deep breath.

How much bloody poop is there? Is anyone acting odd or unusually sleepy, or staying under the heat lamp more than normal?

Now start a new thread with a picture of the poop. The people who have been following this thread may or may not be experienced with chick diseases; but you'll cast a wider net if you post a new thread in the Emergencies/diseases forum.

Hopefully, it turns out to be nothing serious.

They all seem fine really. No one lingering under lamp. It was probably 4 or 4 or 5 reddish colored poops. I picked it all up and changed the shavings but will be on the look out for another and will start a new “bloody poop” post. And here I though I was out of the woods making it through 2 pasty butts :(
