Hi Everyone

I have 7 beautiful hens, a speckled, bluebelle, a white star and 4 warrens. All are laying except the white star. the white star was bought just as she was about to commence laying at around 18 weeks august 2012. She layed all the way into January early feb (despite the cold winter) and then stopped and has not layed since :( and I dont know why. Initially i thought that she was moulting because the length of her tail has shortened. Ive checked her vent and its free of bleeding, cuts and poo. Ive checked her for the dreaded mite, and I make sure the coop they all live in is cleaned at least every 2 weeks. All the other hens seem fine, I dont know whether I should give flubvent for de-worming to all of them but should i as it appears that they have no worms. even the white star her poo is healthy. Im stuck i dont know what to do. Recently the white star is pulsating so i dont know is that a sign to something?

Your advice would be much appreciated.

Well now that the warm weather is coming, just make sure she gets over 8 hours of sunlight and give it another week or so. All chickens are different -just like humans. I bet she will get back in line soon. Good luck.

Thanks for that, well I reside in the United Kingdom, in the west midlands area. All of them run around the garden more than enough space. Well thats what i hope will happen, ive been waiting for months. Thanks.
