Advice on how to raise Cornish Rocks

I hope this is where I can ask these questions. Posted this in the wrong board.I can't find a thread on how to raise Cornish Rocks. I have just order some and they will be here next month. I have seen mention of feeding them 12 on 12 off. My questions are:

1.When should they switch from starter feed to grower. I know they do grow quickly so do I need to switch them sooner to grower feed ?

2.when do I start feeding them 12 on 12 off

3. Right now it is STUPID HOT here in Va. Can they be in a brooder outside or should I keep them indoors with a grower light.

4.When should I put them out in the chicken tractor.

If these questions have been asked and answered already my apologies. This is my first post and can't seem to find the proper thread. Thanks in advance for any advice.

If they have a starter/grower program or a single ration one it makes no difference. Follow the directions. Seriously limit the "treats" and forget this feed fermenting nonsense.

2.when do I start feeding them 12 on 12 off Never. It is close to animal abuse and counter productive to healthy, economical growth.

3. Right now it is STUPID HOT here in Va. Can they be in a brooder outside or should I keep them indoors with a grower light. You use supplemental heat to keep them at the optimum temperature for their age. There is nowhere in the recommendations where "stupid hot" is addressed as a precise value.
4.When should I put them out in the chicken tractor. When the temperatures and other environmental conditions are suitable or made suitable.

If these questions have been asked and answered already my apologies. This is my first post and can't seem to find the proper thread. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Thanks for the reply. It has actually cooled off for the week . No heat index of 115. Hopefully August when they arrive the temp will be NOT that.
