That’s the incubator I have. Super good. But not affordable at all.

Do not buy a still air incubator! I believe most styrofoam ones are but some aren’t.

If I had to recommend an incubator I’d go with this:

Cheap and won’t kill eggs. But if you want to go larger you can. If you must buy a styrofoam incubator make sure that it is not still air.

pleaseTell me more about what a styrofoam incubator is when I would want to use one and how the air feature plays a role in it?

Styrofoam incubators like this:
Styrofoam incubator

Are used if you want to hatch a lot
Of chicks super cheaply. The cost of this is a lot of dead eggs, early death chicks, or chicks with deformities.

This incubator is probably the worst you can get due to its cheapness and still air feature. Still air means there is no fan. When you don’t have a fan in an incubator you get hotspots and cold spots which cripples development. The purpose of the fan is to rid those spots and causing the whole incubator to be evenly heated.

Most FAN (aka circulated air incubator) styrofoam incubators are ok for 1-2 time hatches for a decent amount of chicks.

Brinsea incubators are great and computerized unlike most or all styrofoam incubators. Some styrofoam incubators you need to buy a turning tray which is just extra money.

Money is not a factor for me. I need quality so if the $2,000 incubator is what I need that's what I will get. Thanks for the information about those other incubators. I'm strictly using for business.
