Horses do best in pairs. I did own one for a long time but he was attached to my pet skunk and hung out by his enclosure all the time if we wasn't outside (very rare).
Make sure they are up to date on all the tests, shots, hoof trimming/shoeing, and teeth floating. There are a ton of little things horses need done all the time.
That's so cool that you had a skunk!
Probably a silly question, but what's teeth floating?
