Hello Friends. I'm raising three muscovy who are eight weeks old now. It looks like I have two drakes and one duck. Is this going to be a problem when they mature, or will it be possible for the two boys to stay buddies and not to fight or overmate the girl?

Due to space limitations, I wouldn't want to have more than four birds, so is it better to get one more female or should I get rid of one of the males and get two more females? And when (age-wise) would be the best time to do that?

Thanks!

1 Drake to 3-4 hens is best. I have Muscovies and those drakes do not like to share so I'd pick the best mannered out of the 2 and rehome 1. And if you can do it at the age they are now you may have a better chance of finding him a good home. Babies are always easier to rehome.

Beautiful scovies

Thank you. I was hoping for two ducks and one drake but it never seems to work out that way. Both of the boys are sweeties so it's going to be hard to choose just one.
