Hello, I have a 1 week old chick with scissor beak. The case itself doesn't look severe. The chick itself is one of the bullies. Its big and plump and acts like a normal chick. I give him regular crumble and sometimes crumble mixed with egg. So any other advice on raising him?

I don't know about tube feeding, but I will try to feed him some yogurt mix with his crumble. My mom has gotten attached to him, so i couldn't allow him to pass with that fact in my mind. Thank you for the article link.:thumbsup:jumpy

Tube feeding is for extreme cases - and realistically if you do not have the time and ability to consistently tube feed a bird that requires it, it is kinder to put it down rather than leave it to slowly starve to death.

Only time will tell in the end though, and if it gets bad I will tube feed or put him down, thank you for your advice.
