For some backstory I have one hen who suddenly had a slightly puffy side of her face and the next morning one more had it. Both were only one side of their face, no eye bubbles, no lethargy, acting normal otherwise, there was a little snot one day and that was it. I thought obviously the worst, I separated them and nobody else showed any symptoms (they’re 7 weeks and still in brooder at night together with others)
However, the same day the first showed signs we got sprayed for mosquitos only a couple hours before she showed symptoms. I’m thinking they may have inhaled a tiny bit and reacted to it. The man who sprayed did his best not to spray anywhere in their direction but we have plenty of wind that could have carried some over. It’s only been a couple days and they’re already pretty much completely back to normal with no swelling. How long before I should put them back with the rest of their buddies?
