advice on skinning ducks..i hear its much easier...

They are difficult to skin but there is an easy way but you cannot cut into them before you do this method. Use an air compressor and make a tip from copper pipe for it resembling a hypodermic needle and blow them up between the skin and meat the skin will practically fall off. This works for any animal. Dont over inflate.
 
depends greatly on the kind of duck.. both domestic and wild. For me, isn't much to eat on a duck other than reuen or pekin; but breast... On most of them, I just slit the throat, pull the skin back to expose the breast, slice the breast out, and trash the rest. Might save the legs/ thighs on bigger/ meatier ducks, just by pulling more skin away.
 
I just use a razor blade and carefully skin the duck. I even ended up with 2 beautiful pelts that looked and felt like soft furs!
