advice/opinion please

i have a 9month old sex link hen that is losing some feathers on her head. Her comb looks smaller than normal and has very fine white spots on it. she is acting fine and eating normal wings arent droopy still active. I half suspect shes molting, but in January in Ohio...looking for some insight.
