Hey I have a pekin bantam cockerel and a cream legbar hen in the same flock. I’ve noticed that they have been mating should I try to hatch the egg and if I did does anyone know what would happen.

Welcome to BYC. I'd think about it a bit. Crested cream legbars lay huge eggs. Bantams do not. A pullet from that match would be beautiful, but might have problems with laying.

Why not? Like @DobieLover has said , if he is hitting the target give it a shot. Chicks would likely mature mid sized, be slightly feather footed, and lay medium green eggs.
