Hi everyone, I am starting up my own gardening. I have planted watermellon a couple days ago. I am going to be doing veggies and fruits, also sod. Any advice?

Do you like tomatoes? The best tomatoes I've ever grown were when I tried something new... I put about 5 banana peels in the hole then planted the tomatoes on top. They made the plants grow like crazy, and they were super tasty tomatoes!

5 banana peals? Like eat 5 bananas and put each peeling in there, or 5 sides of a banana peel. Like peel it and each peel be counted as 1?

Yes 1 banana = 1 peel

Ok so 5 of them.. man how would I do that.. think think. Right now we just have large coffee containers to start planting, were way in the begining

You can keep the peels in a ziplock gallon bag in the freezer until you are ready to plant the tomatoes in the ground ..or in a very large container.

Ok well we will see what we can do. Do we plant the seeds right inside the banana peel? Or do we just put the peeling around there

What I did is I got tomato starts, dug the hole in the ground put the banana peels in the hole and planted the tomato plants over them. Easy peazy lemon squeezy!

Oh, we will be starting from seeds, will it still work it I put it at the bottom of the container

I don't see why it wouldn't, I would just put a couple of inches of soil over the peels and plant your seeds as usual. And if your using planting containers smaller than 5 gallons I would only put maybe 1-2 peels in there, and when you transplant them into something bigger or into the ground just add some more peels in the bottom of the container/hole.
