advice

If you're starting tomatoes from seeds, my recommendation is to start them just the same way you usually would, and wait for the banana peel until you transplant them into the garden. New seedlings are especially susceptible to fungus. A banana peel in the seedling pot will be a great invite to fungus.

Hi everyone, I am starting up my own gardening. I have planted watermellon a couple days ago. I am going to be doing veggies and fruits, also sod. Any advice?

Do you know anyone locally who has been gardening for a long time? If so i would ask him/her what grows easily in your region. I think one of the biggest mistakes new gardeners do is trying to grow something finicky that just plain doesn't grow well in your location no matter what you do. When people do that it often leads to discouragement. For new gardeners i would recommend growing veggies that have a solid record of performing well locally in addition to growing a few things that have short maturity dates.
