Advise needed for Silkie hen

Hi I am new to the group and would really appreciate some help please.
I am in the UK, my mum has two silkie hens one black one white approx 9 years old. They are both eating and drinking as normal.
The white one has been stumbling around so we looked at her feet, cut her nails to see if that would help, it did a little but we noticed her legs were not looking very good so we bathed them in hibiscrub. Still no real improvement so I suggested that we try cutting her feathers back away from her eyes incase they were imparting her vision so I went over to my parents house yesterday to help do that and I was taken back by what I saw. Her left eye was fine but all around her right eye had this awful clumping/mass.
I cut the feathers back and bathed the area with warm water to get some of it off.
Can anyone tell me what is going on with this lovely old lady please.

The foot appears to have scaly leg mites. The face may have scaly face mites, but favus could be possible as well. Scaly leg mites and face mites can be smothered with petrolatum (vaseline.) I would also use ivermectin as well for treatment twice 14 days apart. If the eye has favus, a fungal infection, then miconazole, clotrimazole, or an antifungal cream applied daily might help.

Ivermectin comes in different forms, oral, injectable, and pour-on. If using the pour-on topical 5 mg per ml strength, use 0.1 ml for a 2 pound chicken, and apply on the back of the neck over the spine.
