(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

I've been around chickens my whole life but just now starting to give a go at it myself.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

10

(3) What breeds do you have?

5 buff orpingtons and 5 barred rocks

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?

just looking around on the web

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

spending time outside either yard work or shooting hunting fishing anything like that. i also play video games with my son

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

me and my wife are both 23. have a 4 year old son and another on the way due mid october. i have 2 cats, both boys. 2 dogs(german shepherd and a yorkie) and 2 guinea pigs boy and girl. i work at a lumber yard where i drive a delivery truck with a forklift to take lumber all over (it does have a good benefit though, i can have alot of what is left over that might have nail holes in it.)

thanks for adding me and i plan to enjoy being a part of such a great community
