Afraid of Winter

Chickens do well in winter, provided you keep the water liquid or break any ice promptly. Here are some thoughts on our first winter with the hens. I was terrified but we had the worst winter in 22 years and did well!

Do you let your Chickens out of the coop during the day in the winter months with the snow or should be kept in the coop?
