So we initially adopted 2 pairs of gosling from the store. Sadly one was taken by an eagle, so we adopted another pair by right (the store owners weren’t exactly professional breeders so i assume the workers dont really know how to differentiate the genders). Now we assumed there was either 2 male, 1 female or 2 female 1 male. This was the chinese goose. Then after awhile my father took in another pair of african breed. now that theyve grown we’re doubting the gender. How can we find out? Cause first one of our workers said the two africans are both female and the Chinese had 1 female 2 male. But then another person said the two africans are male and as is with the Chinese 2 male 1 female. It kind of made sense because we always saw the Africans fight with all the other goose when in their water 😭 container. Despite it being big 🙄? They are more aggresive and likes to bite comoared to the one big Chinese that we got first. But does anyone have any idea how we could confirm their gender? And if we had 1 female, would it be safe if we adopted another female gosling. Would they breed once grown?

Heres where you can see them. I dont have their photos on my ipad 😭

I dont have tic toc so really couldn't see the photos. with the Chinese you will find a difference in there pitch after puberty around 5 months the males will bugle with a ear piercing bugle the closer you get to breading season.and the girls will have a deeper voice.
If the African you got were the production Africans without a dewlap it will be the same.
The next Id is the lenght of the neck the boys stand taller with longer necks the girls will be a little lower lined. The next is behavior the boys approach boldly and the girls are a little more skeptical and trusting. you can also send there feathers for dna testing.
I got some Dewlap Africans this year from good breeders from one I got 4 3 girls and one boy the are 8 weeks yesterday and the boy has always stood out. He is always the one in the front and is thicker and fuller then the other 3. The other 6 I got now 12 weeks I will probably DNA test since only 2 are acting like girls. Good Luck its always a guess till breading season and catch who laid the egg.
