African Harlequin Quail

Do these go broody? and how do quail poop? lol. I want to keep them in my loft, but I only would clean out the loft about two times a year. so if it's really wet it might not work.
Thanks,

Probably the deep litter method is okay with quail, but the question is how they will mix with the pigeons. Coturnix are sensitive to diseases of other birds. Maybe someone has tried this before?

Hi Tony.I am looking for some African Harlequin Quail, maybe just a couple pair or a trio.Do you have any to sell or know of anyone? I am in Massachusetts. Thanks,B

Hi,

My name is Terri and I am new to this site. I live in AZ and believe the Harlequins are just what I want. I have button quail inside the house, but recently developed COPD and now need to keep my quail outside. I am planning on selling the small quail, and have been researching bigger (less flighty) quail that would do well in our climate. I am trying to get some Valley Quail eggs, but I have no clue as to where to buy the Harlequin... could not find them on Ebay. Can you please help me find someone I could acquire them from at a reasonable cost? (I am disabled and my animals are my family!) Thank you.

Terri
