After 0 % hatch rate-- Trying again

Some good info in here!

So if the weather has been warmer lately (at my house temp of 65* or above), do I still need to let the eggs sit in the house for a handful of hours before incubating?

if it has reached 72* or above outside lately, should those eggs not be used since they may have started to progress and then stopped?

Interrsting...

Thanks for all the words folks. It seems like everyone out there is familiar with the anxious turning then complete let down after a poor hatch. I am in Miami and if you know what winter in Florida is like, then you might be able to understand how hard it is to keep steady temperatures. We can have 40's in the morning and it be in the high 70's by afternoon. No one there to twist the little wafer one way or the other.

I knew it was going to be a poor hatch after returning home to see the temps at 103 and even 104 once. Geez... but candling showed progressive growth. I am pretty certain that around day 14 the 104 day killed the majority of them off. A few did fully mature though, just died before hatching.

When I realized it was going to be a poor hatch I started to plan different ways to make an automatic egg turner... One that actually rolls them from side to side rather than titling. I bought hobby motors and doo dads. But finally broke down and bought the auto turner. I actually have a great idea for one now that uses a DTDP (Double Throw Double Poll) Switch. Will post again if I get it worked out.

I have a a digital thermometer that lists humidity, I was wondering if everyone out there goes wet-bulb rather than digital?????
