you could call the county extension office to see if they could reccommend a vet for chickens in your area...that seems too odd.

why is it so difficult to believe that a hen, like humans, maybe won't produce. Having been on fertility drugs twice and finally produced twin boys and another amazing boy...couldn't it be possible?
