After about a month and a half break

my silkie hen is laying eggs again!!! Since she's started again on Saturday, we've gotten an egg a day from her.

Hooray! One of our Buff Orps finally started again yesterday. its wonderful to discover those eggs again, isn't it!

Way to go pretty hens! I always try to stock up the fridge when I think the lull is coming. Before I buy store bought eggs from caged chickens, I will go without eggs for breakfast. Mine will keep a few months without any problems at all.
