HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gin I got more than my toes freezing off sitting here at this computer. I doubt school will be delayed here because it is cold. I know they call school off because of snow but when I was growing up, I remember my uncle carrying down a snow covered lane on a John Deere tractor too catch the school bus. they didn't call school off for nothing back then. BRRRR warm weather hurry up and come on back.

mema2003, I was hoping for a delay so I wouldn't have to clean stalls tomorrow. It's way to cold to take the horse's out and I don't want to do them anymore.

Marlinchaser, your right, that's why my feet are still froze.

Gin the stalls must be cleaned I am sure!!!! My daughter cleaned my coops out today and got rid of the wheat straw and put wood chips in them because they will dry out quicker. But only my silkies have a light as I have not figured out how too add a light too the other coop. It is kinda long and short. My family says the chickens will keep each other warm with the coop closed. I sure hope they are right. Next year, Lord willing and I can make some extra money someway, I will have a better set up and more chickens. Did I say MORE CHICKENS? Well slap my mouth. I got too many already. Like you Gin, it is so cold out and I hate battling it and right now hubby is helping out without complaining but can't make him understand that they need water swapped out because it freezes fast. Got too find me some waterers that can be hooked up too electric too keep the water from freezing. Just don't know the cheapest place too get them.

I don't know if you have an Agway where you live but I saw a nice one in ours and it was around $35.

I would love to use wood chips but the fair sells the horse poop to the mushroom growers LOL and they don't want wood.

Can I have an update I am going tomorrow to a quilt shop 2 hours away so what is the color combination again I am thinking blue and beige but not sure and don't have time to search. Thanks

Thanks for your help goldenluver. And I'll put my information on the first post so I don't need to send it to each one.

I am really sorry that I have to do this but I am going to have to drop out of this block swap. I am really sorry but I found out yesterday that I have to have a total knee replacement surgery as soon as possiable, that means that I go in on the 25th of January and I just don't have time to do them before then with getting ready for surgery. I am not sure how long before I will get going on sewing after the surgery and sure don't want to have to worry about getting them out in time and holding up the swap. Thanks for understanding.

I knew this was coming but thought I could at least wait till spring or summer, but that is a no go it has to be now. Again I am so sorry that I have to miss this swap.
