After egg bound

Our chicken was egg bound, passed the egg yesterday (whew!), but seems sore today (not wanting to walk much, eating and drinking just fine). Is this normal after being egg bound? I've read that the egg can press on nerves, so it makes sense but wanted to ask you fine folks.

That sounds like it would be normal and plausible, so I wouldn’t be concerned. I haven’t had chickens who are egg bound, but it sounds about right
