After Hatch

    Am currently on day 20 and very excited,just wanted to ask what do you guys use to clean and steralise your incubators with before you put you next batch of eggs in!

    I just had my first batch last month. I don't know what most people do, but I just cleaned mine out with soapy water. I wouldn't think it needs to be any cleaner than that. The two that the hens hatched out in the barn didn't have it so clean where they hid them!

    BTW, Good Luck with your hatch! It was quite exciting to watch them.

    I use a 10% bleach solution to clean mine with. I have some good luck with that.

    liquid dish detergent and/or 1teaspoon of bleach to 1 gallon water.
