How long, to what age, will she raise her chicks? I assume she wants to get on with her life after a while.

When will she start to lay again?

The broody I'm speaking about also molted and has a new set of feathers.

Thank you!

Mine start laying eggs and seperating from the chicks anywhere from 3-6 weeks after the chicks hatch.

At about six weeks she wants them to be on there own,I noticed with my silkies she even was a bit pecky with them to stay away from her and her food and before that she had allways let them eat first.

A lot depends on the individual hen. Some are ready to leave their chicks at a much earlier age than others who will stay with their chicks almost until adulthood. Mine average around 4-8 weeks. They seem ready to begin laying again soon after they leave their chicks, that's what probably determines their decision.

No matter when your hen leaves her chicks you will need to be prepared to tend to them for some time before they're mature.
