I'm asking again to see if anyone can identify the breed of 2 of my chicks. I'm almost 99% positive of the breeds of my other 8 chicks. But this one is eluding me!

If you would be so very kind to click on this link below to see a video of our chicks when they were a week or so old. If you can focus your attention to the black chicks only. There are two. They were totally black on their backs, and whitish grey on their chests.

Here is a picture of one of them (on the right) at 4 weeks old:

This is a picture from the other day at 5 weeks old:

I apologize for not being able to get a better picture of their faces...they move around so much!

I am almost certain they are not Wyandottes because their combs are not the rose combs. But then again, I am a newbie at this!

Again, thank you for any help on this! I am truly grateful!!

I'm not sure what it is. I don't think its a barred rock though. Here is a pic of mine at 5 weeks old (the one in the front):

Ok, I've gotten two opposing opinions! Do you think perhaps they are a mutt of some sort? That's been going through my mind lately since I can't quite pin point what breed they are....

We bought our 10 chicks from a farm store. They were unsexed and the very unhelpful (possibly ignorant of chicken farming) associate couldn't tell me what breed they were. This being our first go at owning and raising chickens, we thought it better to not pay too much for them. I know...sounds bad....I have all but these 2 figured out for breed! I first thought Wyandotte, but their combs are not right. Then Barred Rock, but their coloring is not consistent.......any other black and white chickens fit this profile by any chance?

OMG...those mottled java chicks I just Googled look so much like mine! But they are have so much grey in them now. Not so much black. As for Anconas....would you find those at a farm store?

Well if they ordered a mixed set from a hatchery anything is possible! Ideal sells pretty much every type of chicken I have ever heard of and they keep doing specials on Hatchery Choice Chicks.
