Good grief, just my luck, the only one of the 5 that’s a pullet is the one who can’t seem to be around the rest of the flock without getting attacked.

Good grief, just my luck, the only one of the 5 that’s a pullet is the one who can’t seem to be around the rest of the flock without getting attacked.

The reason is that she's the only female in a bunch of boys and they're likely trying to stake their claim.
