Again - Mallard or Rouen

To me Mallards have much skinner necks. Those birds also have a more upright stance then a Mallard....

I don't really care too much whether my pair are Mallard or Rouen, I just want to make sure I don't have my hands on something illegal?!?! I read that it's illegal to keep Mallards, but I got the pair at a chicken swap in my home town and the duck lady didn't mention anything about an issue with Mallards. I've only brought them home today and she told me they are 15 weeks. Here's a pic.

I'd say mallard and there are domestic mallards so your probably fine. check and see if they have a hole punched in their webbing or a toe missing, not sure what else they do to recognized them as domestics. They are very pretty. I think you have to clip a wing on them too to keep them from flying off. Not real sure though.
