Def a Buff I have 3 females. Age hard to tell where did you get her/him? It could be a drake hard to say but looks to be female as this duck matures if a drake the head will become greyish.
I found them wandering around a local park looking confused so I brought them home so they wouldn’t get eaten by predators
If I can’t find there owner I’ll keep them

Also I’m guessing there kinda young cause there voice sounds pretty raspy and quiet and I haven’t heard them give any proper quacks

I don’t have buffs but I agree it looks like one. If you found it in a park my guess is someone dumped it when they didn’t want it anymore. If it sounds raspy and not quacking or peeping I’m guessing its a male then

thanks for all the responses :)
I have a question for you guys
So if he was dumped and the owner doesn’t want him I want to try and keep him
Currently, I have 9 chicken hens and 3 duck hens in one large coop. I’ve avoided getting a drake because I know it could be dangerous for the chickens so if I kept him would he go after the chickens or if I rearranged me setup, so the ducks have their own space would 3 duck hens not be enough or should I just try to find him a new home?
